AMBER Alerts Show Up In Google Maps Now

God forbid a child go missing, but if it happens now there?s another place you?re going to hear about it, because Google has added AMBER Alerts to Google Maps.
Now, on both mobile and the desktop, when you search for something in the area where the alert was issued, you?ll also see that alert. These will give you identifying information about the child and details about where the abduction happens. Anything that puts effort into keeping kids safe is without a doubt, a very good thing.
