Charlotte-based human resources management company Infinisource said Tuesday that it has acquired Qqest, a deal that doubles the size of Infinisource.
Infinisource and Qqest both provide payroll, timecard, benefits and other human resources solutions for clients. The combined company will keep its headquarters in Charlotte. Infinisource moved to Ballantyne Corporate Park earlier this year from Coldwater, Mich., with the promise to hire around 160 workers.
Infinisource stands to receive as much as $1.9 million in state incentives if it meets job creation and investment goals. The company has hired about 40 people so far in Charlotte, putting it ahead of its hiring goals thus far, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Executives said the acquisition will leave Infinisource positioned for further growth.
The purchase price was not disclosed. The company?s customers now include businesses ranging from the Washington Redskins to Nintendo USA, Infinisource said.
